6.3 miles, barefoot. Rather pleasant conditions, a bit breezy, but warm enough not to feel chilly and plenty of bright sunshine to make the early green of spring dance some.
The feet seemed a bit sensitive to the prickly chip-seal near home, but as the run went on, the sensation of the road and bare soles became quite delicious and I got a good stretch where it seemed like the whole body tingled. I kept the pace on the easier side for the most part, though it was too tempting in stretches with favorable winds to let the legs open up some and try to consume the space in front of me with a voracious sort of appetite.
